What lingers just beneath the outer layer in our homes often holds a grotesque, dysfunctional narrative. A history of making unfolds as surfaces buckle, stretch and break at the seams. By exposing such liminal spaces and psychological borderlands I explore just how stable a home really is. I construct situations of unease by using commonplace, architecturally charged materials. With this prefab palette I question our notions of value, class and the often unachievable ideal of home.
